About US
We are a group of Oxford medical students who wish to increase the diversity of Oxford medical school by connecting with students from backgrounds which are under-represented in the cohort. We deliver a host of programmes help such students with UCAS applications, medical school interviews and general preparedness for a career in medicine. We believe this will help address inequity of access and opportunity between Widening Participation and other groups.
We are trying to reach students who are under-represented in our medical school, which includes but is not limited to:
- Black, Asian and minority ethnic students
- Students from lower income households
- Students from ACORN 4/5 areas
- Care leavers
- Students with disabilities
- First-generation students
Our Aim
To increase diversity in Oxford medical school by increasing the proportion of students from under-represented groups.
Our mission statement is to widen access and participation of individuals from under-represented groups in Oxford Medical School and the wider medicine community.
